What began as a family legacy has grown into a brand dedicated to bringing the true taste of Maharashtra to every kitchen.
Our Story
The journey of Sandeep Masala began with Sudhakar Ramchandra Bhagat, who carried forward not only the family business but also a genuine passion for food and traditional flavours.
Recognising his dedication and vision, Sudhakar entrusted the family legacy to his son, Sandeep Sudhakar Bhagat.
Sandeep had a simple yet powerful vision — to make authentic Maharashtrian cooking easier for everyday families while preserving the flavours and traditions passed down through generations.
With this vision, he focused on serving the people of Bhandup with essential spices and traditional masala blends. By introducing carefully prepared, traditional spice blends, he brought convenience to Maharashtrian kitchens without compromising on the authentic taste of homemade food.
In 1971, Sandeep Masale was established, marking the beginning of a journey that would become a cherished part of many households.
A Passion for Real Flavours:
Sandeep's dedication to his craft was driven by his desire to share the rich and vibrant flavours of Maharashtra with more people.
He experimented tirelessly, refining his blends and striving to create masalas that could bring the taste of traditional Maharashtrian cooking to every home.
His approach was simple: keep the flavours authentic, keep the quality honest, and never lose the traditions behind the food.
Sadly, Sandeep passed away in 2024, leaving behind not only a business but a legacy built on passion, relationships and trust.
Today, that legacy continues through his son, Soham Sandeep Bhagat, who carries forward his father's vision while looking towards the future.

From the first generation that laid the foundation, to Sandeep who shaped the brand and its flavours, and now Soham who continues the journey — Sandeep Masala remains a family legacy at heart.
